Hey guys, welcoming to
my blog! Do you have enjoyed enough with your Chinese New Year for this year?
Do you think that you still gluttonous for the finger licking good cookies and
light dessert? If your answer is yes, then I will congrats to you first
because, today I would like to share the cookies that I
learnt from my grandma and it's really does work! It is look nice, smell nice
even also taste nice! Thus, today I'm going to introduce desserts
here.
Let's take a look~
Chessboard Cookies
FOR THE BLACK CHESSBOARD
PART:
1. 75g
unsalted-butter
2. 40g
icing sugar
3. 75g
low-gluten flour
4. 5g
cocoa powder
FOR THE WHITE CHESSBOARD
PART:
1. 75g
unsalted-butter
2. 40g
icing sugar
3. 75g
low-gluten flour
4. 50g
milk powder
Extra:
1. ½
teaspoon soda powder
1. First, for making the black chessboard part, mixing the unsalted-butter and icing sugar together, string continuously until all the butter is melted.
2. Second, mixing the 75g low-gluten flour and 5g cocoa powder into the mixture in step 1 until become a well-stirred dough, called as dough A.
3. Third,
for making white chessboard part, mixing the unsalted-butter and icing sugar
together, string continuously until all the butter is melted.
4. Fourth,
mixing the 75g low-gluten flour and 50g milk powder into the mixture in step 3
until become a well-stirred dough, called as dough B.
5. Refrigerating
this two dough for 20 minutes in the refrigerator.
6. After
20 minutes, take the two dough out. Cut them into 1cm think with 9cm width
shape.
7. Dividing
both of this two dough into three equal strip with same width.
8. Overlapping
the different color strips alternatively.
9. Overlapping
the strip in step 8 again.
11. Refrigerating
it again for at least two hours
13. Preheating your oven for 10 minutes with 100’C
14. Baking
cookies at 150’C for the first 20 minutes and then turn to 100’C for the rest
30 minutes.
15. Taking
it out and cool. Enjoy with your hardwork!! YUMMY~~
